California Proposition 65 

Some products such as jewelry, and ingredients found in food sold on this website (e.g cacao, goji,), could absorb naturally occurring minerals and elements from their growing environment, some of which are considered by the State of California to be potentially dangerous, naturally occurring or not. In compliance with Proposition 65, we issue this:

California Proposition 65 requires a warning for any product that contains any of the 800+ compounds on a list they determined to be dangerous to human health. The standard set by California is significantly stricter than the standard established by the FDA and the WHO. There is no distinction made between compounds naturally occurring, such as in some plant based foods, and added compounds.  We believe it is very important to be compliant with public health authorities, and this includes California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment.
